Horseshoe Crab

These trays have a shadow box quality to them and are created with just a light resin pour so you can still feel the texture of all the sea creatures, sand, shells and coral. These are made with findings from Maine, Rhode Island and Florida beaches and even include a heart rock!  Horseshoe crabs molt several times a year as juveniles and gives us a better opportunity to find their shells washed up on beaches. Washed, scrubbed and set to dry with a double resin dip, these horseshoe crab shells are in great condition and they're really cool to look at. They are fascinating creatures that are not even crabs, but arthropods.
